Matchbox Twenty Show Canceled

Last night Music Management Intl. released the official statement on their website and facebook account, that the Matchbox Twenty concert, scheduled for November 8 at the Mall of Asia Arena, has been canceled:
Due to the threat of Super Typhoon Yolanda, the Matchbox 20 concert scheduled at the Mall of Asia Arena on Friday, November 8, has been cancelled.
The band is very disappointed not to appear, but weather conditions have made their travel to Manila no longer feasible.
For refunds, please call SM Tickets at 02-4702222 or proceed to the outlets where the tickets were purchased.
Matchbox Twenty ticket scheme
SM Tickets has released an official guide on the refund procedure and some important announcements:
REMINDERS:
  1. TICKET REFUNDS WILL START MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11. This will give us enough time to prepare refund fund.
  2. NO TICKET, NO REFUND.
  3. REFUND CAN ONLY BE PROCESSED FROM POINT OF SALE OR WHERE TICKETS ORIGINALLY PURCHASED.
FOR CASH TRANSACTIONS
  1. Upon surrender of tickets, branch will refund in cash at face value of the ticket
  2. We will ask customer to sign at the back of the ticket acknowledging receipt of refund
FOR CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS (BRANCH PURCHASE)
  1. Upon surrender of tickets, branch will prepare and fill up CREDIT CARD VOUCHER FORM to request for reversal of card transaction (2 copies)
  2. Branch will ask customer to sign at the back of the ticket and voucher acknowledging receipt of refund reversal. Indicating on the voucher the TRANS ID for reference.
  3. Branch to give one copy of the voucher as proof of receipt of ticket.
  4. Credit card reversal will take 10-15 banking days to effect reversal. Interest/bank charges that your credit card have charged you may not be reversed, though some credit card companies also reverses interest/bank charges. This is subject to your credit card company’s regulations.
  5. After 15 banking days and you haven’t received your reversal to your credit card billing statement, email us at customercare@smtickets.com and attached the voucher as reference. we will coordinate with the branch as to the status of the reversal.

  1. Upon surrender of tickets, branch will prepare and fill up CREDIT CARD VOUCHER FORM to request for reversal of card transaction (2 copies)
  2. Branch will ask customer to sign at the back of the ticket and voucher acknowledging receipt of refund reversal. Indicating on the voucher the TRANS ID for reference.

FOR ONLINE TRANSACTION (UNREDEEMED)
  1. Customer to email SM Tickets at customercare@smtickets.com for reversal.
  2. Customer needs to email CLAIM TICKET VOUCHER as reference
  3. CUSTOMER CARE will advise you that credit card reversal will take 10-15 banking days to effect reversal. Interest/bank charges that their credit card have charged may not be reversed, though some credit card companies also reverses interest/bank charges. This is subject to their credit card company’s regulations.
  4. After 15 banking days and you haven’t received your reversal to their credit card billing statement, email us at customercare@smtickets.com and attached the voucher as reference. we will coordinate as to the status of the reversal. CUSTOMER CARE will give reversal reference number for you to follow-up to your credit card company. SM TICKETS cannot directly transact or inquire with your credit card company.

SM TICKETS WILL NOT REFUND ANY ADDITIONAL EXPENSES (LIKE PLANE TICKET/HOTEL ACCOMMODATION).
